Matron of Honor
Jackie is Derrick's older sister. She lives in DeKalb, so I get to spend a lot of time with her! Over the past three years, we have gotten really close and I couldn't have imagined a better future sister-in-law!
Maid of Honor
Sarah has been my best friend since we met in Kindergarten at Good Shepherd. She knows everything about me and I know we will always be friends. I have always known she would be my Maid of Honor!
Bridesmaids
Maggie and I probably "met" on our birth day - February 9th, 1988. We were born in the same hospital, seven minutes apart. We HAD to be next to each other in the nursery, right!? We met a few times throughout middle school and high school through friends, but became friends Sophomore year of highschool. We became really close during freshman year of college. We have gone to Vegas two times and ALWAYS have SO much fun together!
Chelsey and I met junior year of highschool and became friends when we discovered that her cousin was one of my good friends. She started hanging out with my group of friends and we have been great friends ever since!
Jamie is Derrick's younger sister (who is actually my age). We get along so well and I'm so happy she is going to be my sister! We laugh so much when we are together...I wish she didn't live in Minnesota so we could spend more time together!
Groomsmen
Ray is Derrick's brother-in-law. They get along really well and get to hang out a lot because of how close we live!
Kyle is Jamie's fiance. Derrick and Kyle have a lot in common and get along really well.
Pat, Matt, and Brian all worked with Derrick at his job. The four have known each other for years and go out about once a month for a guys night!
Flower Girl
Taylor is Jackie (Derrick's sister) and Ray's 3-year-old daughter. She is THE cutest little girl ever...and we love her so much! Derrick is the BEST uncle and Taylor loves her Uncle Derrick! I always hated that I'm an only child because I would never have any nieces or nephews, so I feel so blessed that Derrick's family already considers me her aunt. I have known Taylor since she was just a few weeks old, and I love that! She is so special to us!
